To kick off the new school year, the Kuya Ate Mentorship Program will be hosting an open house to to re/introduce folks to KAMP’s mission, values, and work we do. The theme this year focuses on the distinction between discussion and dialogue, a distinction that is the very foundation upon which KAMP was built.
What is the difference between discussion and dialogue?
Why is it important to consider that difference?
What attitudes and values are pivotal to holding a successful and empowering discussion or dialogue?
All are invited to come and explore these questions with us.
Light refreshments will be provided at 7pm with the program promptly beginning at 7:30pm. We respectfully ask that you do not park in the Ansir Innovation parking lot, but on either Engineer Rd. or Brinell St.
We hope you can join us for an evening of community building, resource sharing, and strengthening of relationships!
Let us know you’re coming by RSVP’ing on the facebook event!
